Checked bags
- Weight
- Bought by weight, up to 40 kg in total
- Business: 30 kg included, and up to 10 kg more can be bought (40 kg max).
- Starter fares include no checked baggage; select Economy bundles do. You buy only what you need, up to 40 kg per passenger.
- The allowance is a total weight, not a number of bags, but no single bag can weigh more than 32 kg, so a 35 or 40 kg allowance has to be split over at least two bags.
- Any bag with a side longer than 1 metre, wheels and handles included, is oversized and pays a handling fee on top of its weight.

New carry-on rules from 2 February 2027
On Jetstar Airways (JQ) flights from 2 February 2027, every booking includes an underseat bag only, up to 40 × 30 × 20 cm.
