Terms of use

Information, not a guarantee

BagFacts summarises airlines’ bag rules (sizes, weights and fees) from each airline’s own website, with the date they were checked. It’s for information only. The airline’s current rules, the fare you bought and the staff at the airport decide what you can bring and what you pay.

Rules change

Airlines change bag rules and fees without much notice, and they can differ by route, aircraft, fare and status. Check your booking and the airline’s page before you fly, especially for anything close to a limit. The sources page links every page used.

The bag check

The bag check compares the measurements you enter with each airline’s published limits. A “fits” result means your numbers are within the published figures; it can’t account for a bag that bulges, a sizer that’s tighter than the rule, or a gate agent’s judgement.

No warranty

The site is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, BagFacts and its operator are not liable for any loss arising from use of the site, including bag fees. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.

Third-party sites

The site links to airlines’ websites and shows third-party advertising. We don’t control those sites or advertisers. BagFacts isn’t affiliated with or endorsed by any airline; airline names are used only to identify their rules.

Using the site

You’re welcome to use the site and share links to any page. Please don’t copy the site wholesale or scrape it automatically.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date above shows when they last changed.
